What is laser tattoo removal?

Laser tattoo removal is a safe way to break down ink particles in the skin so the body can naturally clear them away. It’s a treatment that uses laser light to fade or remove unwanted tattoos over time using a quick, effective process that helps erase tattoos by targeting the ink without harming the skin.

How long does the process take?

The duration varies based on tattoo size, but each session typically lasts 5 to 20 minutes.

Is it painful?

Most people say it feels like a quick snap on the skin - uncomfortable, but very manageable. It can sting a little, but treatments are quick and far less painful than most expect. Discomfort is minimal and only lasts during the short session.

We provide aloe vera after your first session and have ice packs on hand to reduce swelling. Full aftercare guidelines, hints and tips will all be explained at the studio.

How many sessions are needed?

The number of sessions depends on the tattoo's size, colour and depth. We will assess this during your consultation. Results can be seen after every round of treatment, but typically we would advise on 5 to 8 sessions.
